This is a double exposure taken on one of my favorite stretches on the Blackfoot river. What I love about this image is the direct comparison it makes to the landscape and the organisms that live there. The left side of the frame looks upstream as the early morning light reflects off the surface. The right side is looking down at your feet at the stonefly casings that litter the riverbanks letting us fisherman know what they should tie on.
