A “Jingle” is when the cavvy is gathered in the morning for the day’s work and then moved to greener pastures in the afternoon. It is common practice to use the county roadways as a stock drive corridor in many areas across the west. These show ponies are being corralled by a cowgirl just out of frame on the Paws Up Ranch in Greenough, MT. It's called the Jingle because it was typical to put a Jingle bell on a couple of the horses to know where the herd was while the cowboys were caroling them before light.
