While traveling on these destination fly fishing trips I enjoy photographing much more than just fishing. Capturing the culture, food, landscapes and inhabitants of the area can create a long-lasting memory of the trip. In this photo we waded along the Punta Allen beaches in search of bonefish or Permit, while getting annihilated by mosquitoes. There were several abandoned shacks along the beach but one where a mom and her pups had taken refuge. The strays were so interested in our presence and wanting to say hi but the mom kept close guard from the strangers.
