Bear-grass has long been used for basket weaving and a source of food for many Native Americans across the west. Grizzly bears have also been known to use the leaves in winter dens during hibernation. Now they are a popularly used in landscaping and will make a hiker's day when they witness a full bloom in Spring. This high elevation hillside was covered with full bloom beargrass along with many other wild flowers on a hike in the Bitteroot Mountain Range just south of Missoula.

    All prints placed in a sealed sleeve and shipped in a rigid package to prevent damage while on its way to you.

    11"x14" 4ply Matting with 7.5"x9.5" window cut ONLY available for 8"x10" prints. 11"x14" Backing will be provided for both 8"x10" and 11"x14" prints if selected. Matting and Backing not available for 16"x20" or 8"x20". Thanks.
